Privacy Policy

Protecting the privacy of our users is of utmost importance to Blackboard Collaborate. Blackboard Collaborate operates in compliance with the Privacy Laws set forth by the Governments of Canada and the Province of Alberta.
 
User information is used to customize our web page content for individual users and in some cases to allow users in invite others via email. Blackboard Collaborate limits the collection and use of subscriber information to a minimum which could include Users’ names and email addresses.
 
Blackboard Collaborate will take reasonable measures not to disclose the contents of a user’s communications with Blackboard Collaborate unless Blackboard Collaborate is required to release this information by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: conform to the edicts of the law; to comply with legal process served on Blackboard Collaborate; to protect and defend the right or property of Blackboard Collaborate; to enforce or to further the application or the intent of the terms of the subscriber’s Agreement with Blackboard Collaborate; or to protect the personal safety of Blackboard Collaborate participants.
